| The electric shock-system on distance! |

The TASER® (shortform for Thomas A. Swift’s Electric Rifle) is a pistol shaped stun gun, that can deliver its electric charge on distance.
Via compressed nitrogen 2 projectiles (connected to the stun gun by fine wire) with barbed hooks will be shot in the direction of the target and thus transfer the electric charge. The range is maximum 5 metres.
The projectiles will penetrate a clothing thickness of ca. 6 cm and disable every attacker by entire muscle compression, no matter how pain-insensible the attacker is by possible alcohol or drugs consumption, without leaving long time damages.
Each cartridge contains one shot with two projectiles. If the target is missed, it is possible to substitute the cartridge by a new one very fast. Once the target is hit, it is possible to transfer the electric charge again each time the trigger is pulled – that way it is possible to keep the target under control.
To prevent malpractice, it is possible to identify each shot: all cartridges have, like the TASER®-weapon, a registered serial number. In the moment the cartridge is used and the projectiles are fired, a great many of confetti-like discs with the serial number of the cartridge on them will be released. Via this discs it is possible for the police to find the owner of the cartridge.
The TASER® can also be used without the cartridge as a contact impulse device. However the effect is less when used that way, because the real power of the TASER® is not its voltage (in comparison to normal stun guns it is only 50,000 volts): the two projectiles that are fired from the cartridge, do not fly parallel to the target - the lower one will fly in a small angle down and develop a spread. This way the projectiles (in principle the extended electrodes of the weapon) that stick in the target will bypass a greater distance to each other, amplifying the effect of the electric shock.
