At the moment the Jet Protector JPX is the most modern sytem for liquid OC-solution on the market and was awarded in 2007 with the Swiss Technology Award.

By an explosive-activated power train the riot agent will be shot with a high celerity (about 120 m/s) unerring up to 6.5 metres.

The disposable-cartridge enclosed two riot agent loadings, which can be shot seriatim. If both loads were used, the cartridge can be changed very quickly. Because of a special self-cleaning system, there will be no rests of riot agent left inside the cartridges.

Black hand-held unit inclusive an OC-cartridge with 2 shots.

In Germany the Jet Protector JPX may be acquired only against animals. At this usage it is not liable to the regulations of the weapons law, the purchase and the carrying is allowed. A gun licence is not needed. In case of self-defense it may also be used against peoples.
