PRODEF® Protector gloves, cut protection against knife attacks

The ideal glove for somewhat tougher use. High protection, high cut resistance.

The extremely sturdy and ergonomically designed protector protects the knuckles from impact injuries. To achieve a better grip, the index and middle fingers are fitted with discreet rubber studs. Thanks to the adjustable Velcro fastener, the glove also fits strong wrists without any problems. In addition, the gloves can be easily attached to belts or carabiners thanks to various options.

The gloves are made of soft quality leather and impress with their excellent workmanship. On the outside they look like normal gloves, but on the inside they are equipped with HPPE cut protection fabric(HighPerformacePolyEthylene), which offers maximum cut protection in the event of self-defense.

Why HPPE?
We use HPPE fibers because they offer clear advantages over aramid fibers: They are UV-stable and do not absorb moisture. This is particularly important for gloves, as the stability and cut resistance is not impaired by sweat. Sunlight also has no effect on protection - the gloves can be left out in the sun without hesitation.

What makes HPPE cut protection fibers so special?
HPPE is up to 40 times more tensile than conventional aramid fibers, 60 times more tensile than carbon or glass fibers and 15 times more tensile than steel. These properties, combined with UV stability, low extensibility and exceptional cut resistance, make HPPE the ideal choice for protective articles. For this reason, it is used in the manufacture of helmets, protective shields, protective clothing and armor.

Important note:
These gloves are not personal protective equipment within the meaning of Regulation "EU 2016/425". They have been specially developed for self-defense purposes and are not suitable for use as cut protection in a professional environment, e.g. by butchers, glaziers or forestry workers.
