PRODEF® tactical protector gloves, cut protection against knife attacks

The ideal tactical glove for weapon use, close combat and precise cell phone operation. Offers high wear quality and cut resistance for an optimum grip when handling weapons.

The proven PRODEF® HPPE protective fabric has been specifically processed in the palm of this glove. This effectively prevents cuts, e.g. when defending against knives or glass bottles, while the glove continues to fit the hand perfectly.

The palm has a non-slip design for optimum grip and precise weapon control. The trigger finger (index finger) is specially adapted to ensure an improved feel when using firearms. It also enables touchscreen devices to be operated without having to remove the glove.

A soft, ergonomically shaped knuckle protector protects the knuckles in close combat. Thanks to the adjustable Velcro fastener, the glove also fits strong wrists without any problems.

We rely entirely on HPPE fibers for processing, as these are UV-stable compared to aramid fibers and do not absorb moisture. This is particularly important in the glove sector, as sweat does not have a negative impact on stability/cut resistance and the gloves can be left out in the sun without any loss of protection.

What are HPPE cut protection fibers?
HPPE is 40 times stronger than conventional aramid fibers (which are also used in the manufacture of protective clothing). Compared to carbon or glass fiber, it is 60 times more tensile and 15 times more tensile than steel. Due to its UV stability, low elasticity and high cut resistance, it offers ideal conditions for processing in protective articles. It is therefore used in the manufacture of helmets, protective shields/clothing and armor, among other things.

Important note:
These gloves are not personal protective equipment within the meaning of Regulation "EU 2016/425". They have been specially developed for self-defense purposes and are not suitable for use as cut protection in a professional environment, e.g. by butchers, glaziers or forestry workers.
