High-quality HPPE fibers are responsible for the cut protection. These fibers offer 15 times the tensile strength of steel, are UV-stable, and do not absorb moisture. This allows the pants to be worn even under strong sunlight without compromising cut protection. What are HPPE cut-resistant fibers? Compared to conventional aramid fibers (also used in protective clothing), HPPE is 40 times stronger in tensile strength. It is 60 times stronger than carbon or glass fibers and 15 times stronger than steel. Thanks to its UV stability, low stretch, and high cut resistance, it is ideal for use in protective gear. For this reason, HPPE is also used in helmets, shields, protective clothing, and armor.
The SECURITY patch can be attached or removed from the side pockets using Velcro, allowing the pants to be worn without the SECURITY designation if desired.
With ample storage thanks to multiple pockets, these pants are practical both on duty and for civilian use. An additional thigh pocket allows convenient storage of items such as a radio or smartphone. The elastic waistband ensures an optimal fit even for individuals with intermediate sizes.
