Using the doorstop with alarm is very easy: put it with the taper key behind the door to be secured (from the inner side of the room). By opening the door it will directly activate a very loud alarm.
A further opening of the door is not possible, because the taper key is provided with a anti-slip coating, blocking the door. To abort the alarm it has to be switched off manually – just pulling back the door from the doorstop will not stop the alarm.
