The tonfa "Professional" is a very effective attack and defense weapon that is already established as an effective resource to various police forces. The tonfa is however also used in salvage operations after accidents, e.g. for opening wedged vehicle doors or breaking car windows.
This model was developed in collaboration with a battle-hardened team of specialists. Among others, police intervention teams from the EU helped with the development. Their experience and requirements from past operations were fully incorporated into the design and shape of the tonfa. For example, the straight handle of this tonfa is equipped with grooves for a better grip and the special pommel prevents the tonfa from being torn out of the hand. The ergonomic end of the side handle, in the shape of a mushroom, provides a proper grip as well as the possibility to turn the tonfa. The tip at the end of the handle makes it possible to use the tonfa as an effective hammer, for example, to smash a pane of glass.
The bottom side of the tonfa is flattened, so that it rests better on the hand in case of emergency and does not slip. At the same time, it distributed the force during a blow to the forearm over a larger area.
The material used is high resistant polypropylene.
Delivery includes a high-quality belt holder made of nylon.
