The tonfa is a classic means of self-defense and is very commonly used in martial arts such as  Kabudo and Jiu-Jitsu. Unhardened telescopic batons

The steel  the telescopic batons were not subjected to any further treatment. They are a cheap variant of the models used and reliably fulfil their purpose.
If the impact is too heavy, however, there is a danger that the telescopic baton will bend and can therefore no longer be retracted.

Hardened telescopic batons

The hardened telescopic baton is a reliable companion and with its additionally hardened steel it can withstand even the heaviest stresses without deforming.
